Azadea Group opens the first Eataly in Riyadh, KSA. The opening, one of several planned for the brand in the Middle East, comes after three incredibly successful years for Eataly in the UAE.
Eataly was first introduced in the Middle East through Azadea Group. The response to Eataly’s first two stores in the region has been tremendously positive, which is why the Azadea Group has expanded this brand to the sophisticated Saudi market.
Eataly is a chain of high-end Italian market/restaurants featuring food and beverage stations, as well as bakery and retail items. Eataly was conceived to disprove the assumption that quality products are available for only a limited circle of privileged people, as they are often expensive or difficult to find. The brand includes a number of small-scale companies operating in different sectors of the food world: from the famous Gragnano durum wheat pasta and fresh egg pasta from the Langhe, to extra virgin olive oil produced in western Liguria balsamic vinegar from Modena, as well as traditional Piemontese and other Italian salami and cheese.
