KFC, purveyor of world-famous fried chicken together with Azadea Group, MENA’s premier lifestyle retail company has announced its entry into the Algerian market, with robust plans to open several outlets over the next five years. This expansion of the brands offering within the North African region is aligned with the global Yum! strategy of making the world-famous fried chicken accessible to all.

The first KFC stores will open in Algeria’s capital, Algiers, from October, including one of the larger planned stores based in Dély Ibrahim set to span around 400 square meters. This expansion of KFC's footprint comes with the aim of serving finger lickin’ good chicken across all Wilayas of Algeria.

This expansion within the North African region is set to create a positive impact among the Algerian society creating over 100 additional job opportunities within 2023, with a plan to increase this to 500 jobs within the next years.
